PERMANENT COMMISSIONS

In accordance with the general regulations of the Royal Moroccan Golf Federation, this commission studies all questions relating to the status of athletes and their transfers in or outside Morocco. It rules on applications for athlete’s licenses, sports agents’ approvals and all cases of qualifications.

This commission supervises the organization of the Federation’s sporting competitions, in accordance with the provisions of the present statutes and the Federation’s general regulations. It validates competition results and issues authorizations to individuals and corporate bodies to organize sporting events, in accordance with article 71 of the aforementioned law no. 30-09.

This commission is responsible for drawing up a program for the construction and maintenance of sports facilities where golf is played, in accordance with international standards. It also proposes to the Board the technical rules applicable to golf sports facilities, with a view to ensuring the safety of athletes, competitions and sporting events.

This commission is responsible for drawing up the Federation’s general regulations and for preparing proposed amendments to these regulations to be submitted to the Extraordinary General Meeting, in compliance with the regulations of the International Golf Federation to which the Federation is affiliated.

This commission ensures compliance with the rules of the game, appoints referees for competitions organized by the Federation, and oversees the monitoring, control, and training of the referees affiliated with the Federation. It pronounces on all matters related to refereeing within the Federation.

This commission is responsible for encouraging women to take up golf and organizes a national women’s golf championship.

This commission examines all issues relating to the medical control and monitoring of licensed sportsmen and women, and also ensures medical surveillance during the organization of competitions and sporting events, as well as taking measures to prevent and combat doping, in accordance with current legislation.

This commission is responsible for promoting the training of young sportsmen and women in the field of golf by submitting proposals to the Federation for the creation of the structures required for this purpose, and for encouraging the associations and sporting societies affiliated to the Federation to create these structures.

This commission is responsible for drawing up strategies for the development of golf at national, regional and local levels, and for carrying out studies and monitoring reforms approved by the Board of Directors.

This commission is responsible for drawing up and implementing the Federation’s action program in terms of finding sponsors and patrons, with a view to increasing its financial resources, as well as improving the Federation’s image and making its voice heard through all available means of communication.

This commission is responsible, subject to the powers of the Moroccan National Olympic Committee, for adjudicating, at the request of the parties concerned, through conciliation or mediation, on disputes between members of the Federation.

AD HOC COMMISSIONS :

This commission is responsible for ensuring, in consultation with local authorities and the administrations concerned, that golf courses make rational use of water resources and adopt an eco-responsible approach to the operation of their golf infrastructures.

This commission is responsible for promoting training in the golfing discipline and in professions linked to the operation of golf courses, by proposing to the Federation the creation of the necessary structures and by encouraging the associations and sporting societies affiliated to the Federation to create the said structures themselves and to set up training programs in consultation with public and private bodies specialized in the field.

The commission is responsible for promoting partnerships with international golf federations and various sporting organizations (Professional Golf Association, European Tour, Challenge Tour, Pro Golf Tour, etc.).
